Obituary for Peter Cooper Sr.

CHARLTON- Peter Cooper Sr., 65, a life-long resident of Charlton, succumbed to cancer on May 8, 2017.

He leaves his wife of 36 years, Cynthia B. Cooper; children Peter Jr. & his wife Jessica and Benjamin & his wife Cheri ; grandchildren, Joshua, Arielle, Hannah, Naomi, Peter III, Obadiah, Silas, and Lucy; his mother Rhoda Cooper Josephson; a sister Jean Clarkson; brothers Thomas Cooper & his wife Donna Neylon, John & his wife Carol, Alfred III & his wife Suzan and Stephen & this wife Dimity; many relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his wife Janice Cooper, their daughter Virginia Lynn Cooper and his father Alfred Cooper Jr.

Peter enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family. Actively involved in his community, he attended and was a member of Charlton Baptist Church, he served on the Town of Charlton Finance Committee until the week before his passing and he was past president and current board member of the Charlton Historical Society.


Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday, May 12,2017 at 2:00PM in the Charlton Baptist Church 50 Hammond Hill Rd. Charlton . Burial will be private for the family. Please omit flowers. Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer is directing arrangements.
