NORTH BROOKFIELD- Dennis P. Lindell, 69, passed away on August 4, 2017 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Denise (Ducasse) Lindell,his daughter, Samantha Vircol, her husband Alex, two precious grandchildren, Josephine and Max and loving family including his sister in law, nephew, nieces and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Greta Lindell, his sister Barbara Fedeli and his brother Ronald Lindell.
He grew up in Worcester. He graduated from Burncoat High School in 1966. He then attended East Coast Aero Technical Institute for 2 years before joining the Navy in 1968, where he was a 2nd class petty officer on a flight crew. During his 4 years in the Navy he made several trips to Vietnam and spent time in Hawaii. Dennis worked as an HVAC mechanic at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester,Massachusetts for 40 years, retiring in 2012. Dennis had a passion for music. Over the years he enjoyed playing guitar in several bands. He also loved camping, fishing, metal detecting and cars.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00PM - 7:00PM on Tuesday,August 8, 2017 in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday in the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church. Burial will follow in Mary Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, in Spencer.
